Our municipality participated successfully in the programme, called Local Governments Committed to Investments in 2010. As a regard the municipality of Üllő became entitled to use the term „investment-friendly” as a qualification for its operation. Already in those days, but currently even more we do consider the subdivison of investment incentive as a key element of urban development, managed by the local self-governments. Therefore in January 2013. the municipality – with the assistance of experts on urban development – prepared a document focusing on local developments, entitled Integrated Regional Investments. This document was the first in row in which the municipality’s long-term economic concepts were outlined. These ideas, which have been elaborated based on the geographic features and vehicular connections of the city should be followed during the preparation of documents dealing with urban development. The municipality is obliged by federal legislation to elaborate such documents. 
The Regional Development Programme of Pest County mentions Üllő among municipalities belonging to the significant economic-logistic zone, which means a major success for us.

Specific target areas of economic development in Pest county

The Urban Development Conception of Üllő city and the Integrated Urban Development Strategy were composed based on our concepts for further development, considering Üllő as a member of the agglomeration of Budapest.
Currently the revise of the city structure and regulatory plan is in progress, by taking into account those concepts which were defined in the above mentioned conceptions and strategies.

We can give information about the municipality-owned territories, which are designated for further development. Of course we don’t forget those actors of economic life who are already running their business in Üllő. In the fall of 2015 in the framework of a reception we invited local enterpreneurs, decision-makers and experts who play significant role in the sphere of urban development. We presented the municipality by holding a presentation about Üllő and about our long-term development concepts. We are eager to keep the tradition of such receptions since these informal events give great opportunity to create substantive dialogue between economic partners and decision-makers.
